A Competitive Selection Process
Admission into the programme is highly competitive, with candidates undergoing a rigorous selection process, including:
- English, Mathematics, and Physics tests
- Pilot aptitude assessments
- Psychometric evaluations
- Medical examinations in compliance with UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) standards
Successful applicants will embark on a two-year training programme, with theoretical and practical flight training conducted in Abu Dhabi and Spain.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the Etihad Cadet Pilot Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- ✔ UAE national aged 18 – 29
- ✔ High school diploma (or higher) with a minimum score of 80%
- ✔ Strong command of written and spoken English
- ✔ IELTS score of 5.5 or TOEFL of 510
- ✔ Completed or exempt from UAE National Service (for male applicants)
